- Condensate enters the inlet opening.
- Condensate accumulates in the reservoir.
- Diaphragm valve is held closed by pressure of pilot supply line.
- Solenoid valve in retracted position.
- Leak-proof seal created between accumulation chamber and discharge pipe.
- Capacitive sensor signals when condensate reaches maximum level (closes when condensate decreases to minimum level)
- Solenoid valve is energized and the area above the diaphragm is vented.
- Diaphragm valve opens and drains condensate into the discharge pipe
